Role Description
- Electrical asset maintenance (LV/MV): Maintenance and troubleshooting of LV/MV switchgears, RMUs, transformers, VCBs, and ACBs.
- Generator systems oversight: Oversight of preventive maintenance for diesel generators, AMF panels, synchronization systems, and fuel monitoring.
- Solar plant maintenance: Maintenance of solar inverters, inverter troubleshooting, and scheduling of solar module cleaning to protect yield and reliability.
- PM planning and execution: Developing Preventive Maintenance (PM) calendars, work order planning, and scheduling to ensure predictable uptime and compliance.
- Team supervision: Supervising technicians, conducting Toolbox Talks (TBT), shift allocation, and on-site task execution control.
- OEM coordination and spares: Coordinating OEM services, managing critical spare parts availability, and driving improved restoration times (MTTR focus).
- Documentation and systems: Reading and interpreting Single Line Diagrams (SLD); maintaining records and reporting with strong proficiency in MS Excel and SAP.
- Safety leadership: Strict adherence to LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) and high-voltage protocols, ensuring zero-compromise safety execution across all field activities.
Mandatory Qualifications
- BE/B.tech in Electrical Engineering
- Valid UAE Driving License
- Minimum 2 years in Power Plants, Diesel generators, Solar Plants and Substations.
- Competent to work under HV safety rules
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical expertise in solar-hybrid power systems, diesel generators, and energy solutions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coordinate field service teams effectively.
- Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing timely solutions.
- Knowledge of operational safety standards and commitment to maintaining compliance.
- Proficiency in data analysis and technical reporting, preferably with experience in using analytics tools for performance monitoring.
- Excellent organization and time management skills to handle service schedules and project deadlines.
- Preferred qualifications include previous experience in renewable energy or energy systems, and relevant certifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
