Field Service Representative (FSR) C295
The Field Service Representative (FSR) provides on-site technical and operational support to customers operating the C295 aircraft, ensuring high fleet availability, airworthiness, and customer satisfaction throughout the aircraft lifecycle.
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Starting date: March
Contract Duration: 5 years, renewable each year
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical interface between the customer and the manufacturer for all C295-related matters.
- Provide on-site support during aircraft operation, maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
- Support Line and Base Maintenance activities, including fault diagnosis, corrective actions, and coordination of repairs.
- Assist with aircraft entry into service, delivery, acceptance, and induction activities.
- Monitor fleet performance, reliability, and technical issues; propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Support and coordinate spares, repairs, and AOG situations to minimize aircraft downtime.
- Interface with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program teams to ensure timely technical solutions.
- Support modifications, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives implementation.
- Assist during ground and flight tests, functional checks, and certification-related activities.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to customer maintenance and operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with airworthiness, safety, and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, event summaries, and customer communications.
Required Profile:
- Strong background in aircraft systems, maintenance, and operational support.
- Proven experience with C295 aircraft or similar military transport platforms.
- Ability to work independently in operational environments, including deployed or overseas locations.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with customers, OEM engineering teams, and program stakeholders.
- High level of autonomy, adaptability, and problem-solving capability.
Typical Environment:
- Customer bases, MRO facilities, and operational theaters.
- Possible international travel and deployment in demanding operational conditions.
