Role Purpose
To ensure exceptional financial clarity, control, and credibility across 2welv, while acting as a trusted financial and
advisory partner to the CEO in management reporting, investor preparation, and long-term financial structuring.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Compliance
- Own end-to-end accounting including bookkeeping, general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end
close
- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain audit-ready financial records and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and service providers
Management & Financial Reporting
- Produce monthly management reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, project profitability)
- Track budgets vs. actuals and proactively flag risks and variances
- Prepare clear, executive-level financial summaries and dashboards
Investor & Advisory Support
- Prepare investor-ready financial packs including historicals, forecasts, and assumptions
- Support fundraising preparation, due diligence processes, and investor discussions
- Assist with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and valuation inputs
- Act as a financial sounding board to the CEO on growth, pricing, and structuring
Systems & Financial Governance
- Establish and maintain scalable financial systems, controls, and reporting standards
- Improve financial processes across contracts, invoicing, payments, and project accounting
- Ensure financial discipline and consistency as the firm scales
Required Profile
- Professional certification required (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent)
- 610 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial management
- Experience with consultancies, professional services, or growth-stage firms preferred
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, and financial regulations
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fully virtual environment
