Finance Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting and finance activities, including general accounting, taxation, treasury, cash flow, credit control, and management reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and KPI performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, fixed assets, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Optimize working capital and ensure adequate funding to support business needs.
• Lead annual statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk-management procedures, governance, and segregation of duties.
• Advise senior management on the company's financial position and recommend appropriate actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Accounting and Finance team.
• Oversee procurement processes and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Requirements:

• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification is preferred; alternatively, a master's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, financial accounting, auditing, cash-flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, treasury, working-capital management, and internal controls.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent computer literacy and financial-systems skills.
