Finance & Accounting Sr. Associate – Public Sector
Location: Doha, Qatar
Contract: 12 months, extendable

We are looking for experienced Finance & Accounting Sr. Associates to join a major finance transformation engagement in Doha. The successful candidates will support the design of a Finance Target Operating Model for a public-sector organization.
This role is ideal for finance professionals with strong reporting, budgeting, and planning experience who can confidently prepare and present high-quality outputs to senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Support finance and accounting workstreams within a broader transformation project
- Review existing finance processes and contribute to future-state operating model recommendations
- Assist with budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting
- Analyze financial data and translate findings into clear recommendations
- Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations, reports, and client deliverables
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand operational and financial requirements
- Help identify opportunities to improve finance processes, governance, and reporting
- Present findings and recommendations to client and management teams
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
- Experience within the public sector or government environment is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles
- Good understanding of budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and finance processes
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation-development skills
- Ability to produce clear, professional, client-ready presentations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- Professional fluency in Arabic and English
- CMA, CPA, CFA, MBA, or another relevant professional qualification is preferred
- Currently based in Qatar with valid residency/QID
- Available to work onsite in Doha
