Tasks

This role is responsible for the financial and administrative management of a live construction project, operating directly from the site. It combines financial control, compliance, and day-to-day administration in an environment that requires structure, judgment, and calm execution.

The position suits professionals with seasoned experience in large construction organizations, where systems, governance, and operational discipline are part of daily work.

Scope of work

  • Manage project-level finance and administration operations from site
  • Oversee cash flow and payment cycles, including suppliers and subcontractors
  • Coordinate financial records, controls, and reporting in line with company procedures
  • Support site management with financial and administrative decision-making
  • Coordination of government and commercial licenses, renewals, and inspections
  • Management of labour accommodation, transport operations, and site services
  • Coordination with HR, procurement, and project teams on administrative matters
  • Oversight of insurance-related documentation and compliance
  • Awareness of construction-sector financial practices and cost structures
  • Establish and maintain structured administrative workflows on site

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accountancy, or a related discipline
  • 10-15 years of experience in finance and administration roles within construction or similarly structured project environments
  • Solid understanding of cash flow management, supplier and subcontractor payments
  • Working knowledge of UAE commercial, labor, and regulatory requirements, including licenses, renewals, inspections, and insurance documentation
  • Experience managing site administration, including labor accommodation, catering, transport operations, and related services
  • Familiarity with construction-sector financial practices and operational standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with ERP systems is expected, with Dynamics 365 as an advantage
  • Clear communicator with strong analytical skills and sound judgment
  • Proven ability to manage teams, handle multiple priorities, and operate under time pressure
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and decision-making capability

Role NotesThis is a project-based, site-based position. The role requires daily presence on site and close coordination with project leadership and operational teams.
