The Finance Analyst for Central FP&A will be responsible for providing financial support and analysis to the Finance Business Partner and business teams. This position will support the monthly analysis of actual financials, budgeting, and financial control for the business unit. The Finance Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely end-to-end preparation, analysis, and distribution of monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to provide leadership with actionable financial and operational insights
- Oversee the monthly administration, maintenance, and performance optimization of BI platforms and EPM systems to ensure data integrity and seamless reporting cycles
- Participate in ad-hoc analysis and projects as needed.
- Execute a detailed monthly review of business-unit P&Ls to pinpoint critical variances and analyze their cumulative impact on year-to-date financial performance.
- validation of budget to ensure completeness, numerical accuracy, and alignment with strategic corporate objectives.
- Support FP&A team in identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Provide financial analysis and support to business partners on key initiatives and strategic decisions.
- Execute a detailed monthly review of business-unit P&Ls to pinpoint critical variances and analyze their cumulative impact on year-to-date financial performance.
- Support Finance Business Partner for respective BU for annual planning and budgeting exercise.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
Skills, Experience & Qualification:
- Min of 2-4 years of relevant FP&A experience in a well-developed corporate finance environment
- Ideally studying for qualification in one of the following international qualifications: CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA or Graduate from top university or business school
- B2B Distribution, FMCG and Retail finance experience a plus
- Experienced in Bi Tools such as Qlik, Power Bi or Tableau
- Dynamic, driven and energetic
