Mission
As the Finance and Accounting Group Manager, you will play a key role developing/stabilizing our Accounting and Finance department
You will operate in our Middle East HQ in Dubai, supporting the entire Group and the Top Management by providing them with accurate and relevant financial information.
You will deliver all accounting activities by ensuring full compliance to French and International Accounting rules, with the support of the accounting team and local auditors/CPAs.
You will also develop financial control mindset and procedures in the company, working in close and daily collaboration with the Head of Finance and all the other Group departments.
Scope of Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the CFO, the Finance and Accounting Group Manager takes over the following missions:
ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING
Supervision of the general accounting functions with the assistance of 3 accountants in your team
Responsible for providing reliable accounting and financial information (G/L, Cash, Fixed assets).
Management of a monthly closing and a monthly reporting to help pilot the business.
Ensure accurate financial results by supervising the closing of the monthly and annual accounting cycles.
Responsible for resolving account discrepancies by investigating documentation.
Supervision of the general ledger integrity.
CASH/TAX/SUPPORT
Management of all local taxes around the world in timely manner (Sales Tax, VAT, Corporate income tax, other local taxes).
Support in cash management (optimize payments, cash forecast).
Be the main point of contact of the auditors and CPA around the world (preparation of all closing support documentation).
Answer all potential third parties questions (AP/AR, auditors/CPA, airports, banks, investors, other Group departments, ...).
PROCESSES/OPTIMIZATION
Aware of automatization and continuous improvements opportunities in the accounting system (SAGE 100) and the Finance processes.
Be a co-leader in the implementation of automatization processes.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Management informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.
Coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

Requirements
-Master degree in accounting, control, audit.
-At least 3/4 years experience (corporate or accounting firm).
-Experience working in an international environment, in a group with multiple foreign subsidiaries is required (3 years experience)
-Proficient in MS Excel and Accounting systems (CEGID, SAGE a plus).
-Proficient in French and English is mandatory.
-Experience in French Gaap and accounting is a plus.
