Position: Finance Assistant
Location: Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE
Role Overview
A leading international law firm is seeking a Finance Assistant to support its UAE offices. This role will play a key part in supporting financial operations, tax, compliance, and external audit activities across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with periodic involvement in KSA finance matters.
The position is well suited to a junior finance professional or an experienced assistant who is comfortable operating in a support-focused role within a structured, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day financial operations for the Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices
- Assist with tax-related matters, including UAE VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, and KSA tax exposure
- Provide support during external audits and compliance reviews
- Assist with board-level finance reporting and documentation where required
- Support regional finance activities, including ad-hoc assistance on KSA finance matters
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across multiple offices, ensuring compliance with firm and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate financial records and support internal controls in line with international best practice
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years relevant finance experience
- Background in a law firm, professional services firm, or large multinational corporate environment
- Exposure to board finance, financial reporting, or governance-related finance work
- Working knowledge of VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, and KSA tax
- Fluent in Arabic (native-level) and English
- Experience operating within a multinational and professional services environment
