Role Purpose:
The Finance Director is responsible for safeguarding the financial integrity, stability and long-term value of the organisation across KSA and UAE.
This role provides both operational financial leadership and forward-looking strategic insight, ensuring the business maintains clear visibility of performance, risk, liquidity and commercial sustainability at all times.
As a core member of the executive leadership team, the Finance Director will embed disciplined financial governance while acting as a strategic advisor to the Board and senior leadership, shaping growth strategy, investment decisions, capital structure and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Governance:
- Lead the day-to-day financial management and oversight of all KSA and UAE entities, ensuring regional consistency, accuracy and alignment
- Establish, maintain and continuously strengthen robust financial controls, policies, procedures and governance frameworks
- Act as custodian of the organisation's fiscal health, balance sheet strength and fiduciary responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, Zakat, VAT and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions
- Maintain strong internal control mechanisms to safeguard assets and minimise risk exposure
Financial Reporting & Performance Management:
- Deliver accurate, timely and insightful management accounts, forecasts and annual budgets
- Provide leadership with clear, real-time understanding of financial performance, risks and exposure areas
- Define, refine and embed KPIs that accurately reflect commercial and operational performance
- Lead long-term financial planning, scenario modelling and stress testing
- Support effective company valuation through robust financial modelling and forecasting
Cash Flow, Liquidity & Capital Strategy:
- Maintain full end-to-end visibility of cash flow, working capital and liquidity
- Identify short-term and long-term funding requirements
- Evaluate and pursue appropriate financing options, facilities and capital strategies
- Build and manage relationships with banks, auditors, external advisors and financial partners
Commercial & Strategic Finance:
- Develop a deep understanding of the agency business model, revenue streams, client mix and cost drivers
- Analyse project-level costing, delivery efficiency and profitability to drive improved margins
- Review client portfolios including revenue concentration, dependency risk and margin performance
- Monitor and interpret peaks, troughs, seasonality and pipeline volatility
- Provide evidence-based recommendations on pricing, resourcing models, cost optimisation and investment decisions
- Embed strategic finance into growth planning and organisational decision-making
Risk Management & Advisory:
- Proactively identify financial, operational and commercial risks
- Recommend effective mitigation strategies
- Interpret complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
- Advise leadership on trade-offs, priorities and performance improvement initiatives
- Act as a confident and credible advisor at executive and Board level
Experience:
- Senior finance leadership experience within a consulting or professional services environment
- Experience in instituting financial dashboards and reporting software
- Strong understanding of KSA and UAE financial tax and regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to deliver strategic financial insights beyond standard reporting
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to bring best-in-class finance practices to an agile and fast-paced environment
- Experience in growth-stage and multi-entity regional businesses
- Proven experience partnering closely with founders executive leadership teams or boards
- Strategic commercially minded collaborative and analytically strong
- Able to translate complex financial information into clear actionable insights
- Confident and credible advisor at Executive and board level
