About The Role
The Finance Director is a senior leadership role within Tate EMEA, acting as the Head of Finance's secondincommand and the primary leader of daytoday financial operations. This role is responsible for providing operational, commercial, and strategic financial leadership across the region, overseeing both the Financial Control team and the Commercial Finance team. The Finance Director will ensure strong financial governance, robust business partnering, accurate reporting, and insightful analysis to support performance across the wider EMEA organisation.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Functional Management
- Lead Financial Operations, Control & Commercial Finance teams, ensuring high performance, clarity of priorities, and strong capability development.
- Act as deputy to the EMEA Finance Director, representing the finance function at senior leadership forums and supporting decision-making when required.
- Provide operational finance support to all areas of the business to facilitate continuous improvement.
Financial Control & Governance
- Oversee the financial control environment, ensuring robust internal controls, compliance, and integrity of financial reporting.]
- Lead monthend and yearend processes, audits, statutory submissions, and adherence to group financial policies.
- Maintain oversight of balance sheet quality, cashflow management, and financial risk monitoring.
- Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting cadence.
Commercial Finance & Business Partnering
- Deliver high-quality financial insight and decision support to Operations, Sales, Delivery, Supply Chain, and senior leadership.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, longterm planning, and scenario modelling processes.
- Support commercial decisions on pricing, tender evaluation, margin development, cost projects, and investment cases.
- Provide clear, actionable financial analysis to drive improved business performance.
Additional Expectations
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure adherence to the Product Compliance Policy, relevant laws, regulations, and customer or market requirements.
- Support compliance management activities, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Raise any compliance concerns to the Leadership Team or through the confidential whistleblower process.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Additional training in leadership, business partnering or strategic finance desirable.
Experience:
- 8+ years postqualification experience in a senior finance leadership role.
- Proven track record overseeing both financial control and commercial finance activities.
- Experience working with multisite or multientity organisations.
- Strong experience partnering with senior stakeholders across commercial, operational and supply chain functions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive continuous improvement, and deliver highquality reporting.
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments advantageous.
