Finance Director

A leading global FMCG organisation is seeking a commercially driven Finance Director Middle East to lead financial strategy and performance across the region.

This senior leadership role will oversee the financial operations of a growing Middle East business, partnering closely with regional and global leadership to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy while ensuring strong governance and financial control across multiple markets.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional CFO / Global Finance leadership, the Finance Director Middle East will be responsible for all financial activities across the region, including strategic planning, financial reporting, commercial finance, and team leadership.

The role will work closely with regional business leaders to support expansion, strengthen financial performance, and ensure robust financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function across the Middle East region
• Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple markets
• Provide commercial financial leadership to support regional growth and profitability
• Deliver high-quality management reporting and performance analysis
• Partner with regional leadership to improve margin, cost control, and working capital
• Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and risk management
• Lead and develop a regional finance team
• Support strategic initiatives including market expansion, investment decisions, and business transformation
• Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and advisors

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Significant experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or manufacturing environments
• Proven leadership experience within a regional or multi-country finance role
• Strong commercial finance and business partnering capability
• Experience operating within the Middle East market
• Strong understanding of regional regulatory and financial environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders
