BlackStone eIT is a dynamic leader in providing innovative financial and technological solutions. We are currently looking for a knowledgeable Finance Functional Consultant to be a part of our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to enhance their financial processes and implement effective financial management systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial management requirements and business objectives
- Analyze existing financial processes and provide recommendations for improvements and efficiencies
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of financial software solutions, such as ERP systems
- Conduct training sessions for clients to ensure proper use and understanding of financial tools and methodologies
- Develop and document functional specifications, test cases, and business process workflows
- Support clients during the transition to new financial systems, ensuring smooth adoption and integration
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for financial systems and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Finance Functional Consultant or in a similar finance role
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Financials (Cloud) modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (FA/AA), Cash Management, Budgeting and Expense Management.
- In-depth understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in end-to-end finance ERP implementations, including requirement gathering, process blueprinting, configuration, testing, data migration, and Go-Live support.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into ERP solutions.
- Experience in financial reporting, statutory reporting, management reporting, and dashboards.
- Knowledge of integration points between finance modules and other ERP modules such as Procurement, Payroll, and HR.
- Experience in data migration, reconciliation, and validation during implementations or upgrades.
- Strong skills in SQL, BI reporting tools (OBIEE, OTBI, BOBJ), Excel, and financial analytics.
- Ability to conduct workshops, end-user training, and prepare functional documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in post-implementation support, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.
- Awareness of project management methodologies, ERP governance, and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
