Finance Intern

Motul Singapore invites a motivated and analytical Finance Intern to support our Finance team in day-to-day financial analysis, process improvement and internal audit activities. This internship offers hands-on exposure to business operations, financial processes and data analysis within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Selected intern(s) will also have the opportunity to be part of our young talent programme, Motul's Most Promising - The First Mile, a regional programme held in Ho Chi Minh City, where interns across the region come together for learning, collaboration and exposure.

Area of Responsibility

• Support the Finance team in analysing business processes across finance, operations, supply chain and commercial functions
• Assist in identifying inefficiencies, control gaps and opportunities for process improvement
• Perform internal audit support activities, including process walkthroughs, documentation and basic testing of key controls
• Support the review of compliance with company policies, SOPs and internal control requirements
• Collect, analyse and validate data such as costs, KPIs and productivity metrics to support business insights and decision-making
• Assist in preparing management reports, dashboards and analysis decks with clear and structured insights
• Support the preparation of internal audit reports, findings and improvement recommendations
• Assist in standardising and documenting processes to enhance efficiency and audit readiness
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather data, track progress and support follow-up actions
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of data and reports

Key Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline
• Strong interest in data analysis, financial reporting and business insights
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Proactive, able to take initiative and work well in a team environment
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Available for a full-time internship of 3 to 6 months
