Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. This role includes financial planning, monitoring cash flow, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Finance Manager will support senior management in making strategic financial decisions and maintaining effective financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and financial forecasts.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
2. Cash Flow Management
- Monitor daily cash flow and bank balances.
- Track the company's financial performance and liquidity.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and financial documentation.
- Monitor client payments, post-dated cheques, and developer payment schedules.
3. Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Establish and maintain strong internal control systems.
- Ensure proper approval workflows for payments and financial transactions.
- Oversee receivables and ensure timely collection from clients.
4. Audit & External Coordination
- Manage external audits and statutory filings in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Coordinate with banks, developers, suppliers, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records at all times.
5. Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and support the accounting team.
- Provide financial insights and advisory support to the CEO and senior management.
- Assist management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 58 years of experience in a Finance Department within the UAE.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and UAE financial regulations.
- Experience with financial and accounting software systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
