The Finance Manager Group Financials Consolidation & Reporting is responsible for managing the consolidation, reporting, and financial governance of the Group. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reports, and statutory disclosures in accordance with IFRS. The position works closely with subsidiary finance teams, auditors, and senior management to maintain strong group-level financial control and reporting integrity.

The Finance Manager Group Financials Consolidation & Reporting is responsible for managing the consolidation, reporting, and financial governance of the Group.
Responsibilities
- Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidated financial statements
- Manage consolidation of multiple subsidiaries, joint ventures, and associates
- Ensure accurate elimination of intercompany balances, transactions, and unrealized profits
- Review subsidiary financial submissions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- IFRS & Technical Accounting
- Ensure group reporting complies with IFRS standards (including IFRS 10, IAS 1, IAS 12, IAS 21, IAS 28, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 36, etc.)
- Assess accounting treatments for complex transactions and new business activities
- Monitor new and amended IFRS standards and assess their impact on the Group
- Prepare technical accounting papers and position memos where required
- Group Reporting & Management Information
- Prepare consolidated management reports, dashboards, and variance analysis
- Support Board, Audit Committee, and senior management reporting
- Provide analytical insights on group performance, trends, and key risks
- Statutory Reporting & Audit Coordination
- Manage year-end consolidation and statutory reporting processes
- Coordinate group audits with external auditors and subsidiary finance teams
- Ensure timely completion of audit deliverables and resolution of audit issues
- Support preparation of annual reports and financial statement disclosures
- Intercompany & Governance Control
- Establish and maintain group-wide intercompany accounting policies and reconciliation processes
- Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across all entities
- Strengthen group financial controls, reporting timelines, and close processes
- Systems & Process Improvement
- Manage and enhance group consolidation and reporting systems (ERP / consolidation tools)
- Drive process improvements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting speed
- Support data standardization and chart of accounts alignment across subsidiaries
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Provide functional oversight and guidance to subsidiary finance teams
- Act as key point of contact for auditors, advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Support CFO on group finance initiatives and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional qualification (CA / CPA / ACCA) required
- 1015 years of finance experience, including group consolidation and reporting
- Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency environments
- Listed company or large group experience preferred
