Finance Manager – Dubai, UAE
Real Estate / Hospitality
About The Business
Our client is a fast-growing real estate operating platform spanning residential, hospitality, and flexible living/office spaces across the UAE. They combine property operations with a tech-enabled, hands-on approach to delivering high-quality living and working experiences.
About The Role
The business is looking for a Finance Manager to support day-to-day financial operations for its UAE entity. This is a
hands-on, execution-focused role — the priority is someone who can reliably run the core finance/accounting basics with accuracy and discipline, not someone looking to build out or lead the function from a strategic level. It suits someone early-to-mid career who wants full exposure to a lean finance function and is comfortable being close to the detail day to day.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting: journal entries, reconciliations, financial records
- Support monthly financial reporting for the UAE business — accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting inputs and tracking actuals vs. budget
- Prepare and file VAT and corporate tax returns in line with UAE regulations
- Support compliance with local financial, regulatory, and statutory requirements
- Assist with cash flow and working capital tracking
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and advisors as needed
- Follow and help maintain existing financial controls and processes
Background & Experience
- 6 - 10 years of finance/accounting experience (open to strong juniors — this is not a senior leadership hire)
- Solid technical accounting fundamentals; comfortable owning the basics without heavy oversight
- Practical exposure to VAT and/or corporate tax filing in the UAE
- Real estate, hospitality, or asset-heavy industry background is a plus, not a must
- Excellent communication and soft skills are essential — must be direct, clear, and able to hold their own in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability over ambition to run the function
