As we continue to expand regionally, we are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations of the company.
Position Overview
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in e-commerce or marketplace environments and deep knowledge of accounting systems such as Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain the company's financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Lead budget planning, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives across departments.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and working capital to maintain financial health and sustainability.
- Handle VAT filing, auditing, and compliance in accordance with UAE law.
- Work closely with the e-commerce, operations, and logistics teams to ensure accurate tracking of revenue, COGS, and margins.
- Implement and optimize financial processes within Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and QuickBooks to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Support management with strategic financial planning, feasibility studies, and business case analyses.
- Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team to ensure professional growth and performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management or senior accounting roles, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or marketplace sectors.
- Strong command of Odoo ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and QuickBooks accounting software.
- Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws, accounting standards, and local compliance.
- Proven experience in budgeting, AP/AR, and financial reporting.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced digital environment.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or ACCA) is an advantage.
