What you will do

- Maintain daily visibility on multi-currency cash and obligations; manage weekly payment cycles with correct support and approvals; oversee banking administration and payment controls; strengthen receivables follow-up and aging discipline.
- Oversee voyage accounting setup, cost tracking, voyage close, and voyage P&L and TCE reporting; review estimates vs actuals and explain variances.
- Ensure invoicing is accurate, properly supported (NOR, SOF, bunker receipts, and related documents), and issued on time; partner with Operations and Chartering to reduce revenue leakage and resolve invoice or off-hire discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE VAT; coordinate VAT filings with a clean audit trail; support corporate tax and statutory requirements; lead audit coordination and close observations.
- Manage, coach, and review the Accountant's output; improve workflows through templates, dashboards, and better controls; establish SOPs across invoicing, banking, close, and voyage reporting.
