About the Role

This is a pure execution role focused exclusively on financial operations. The Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining clean, accurate, and timely books in strict accordance with standards defined by the CFO.

This role does not involve strategic financial decision-making. Instead, it requires structured reporting, disciplined bookkeeping, and adherence to clearly defined accounting frameworks and monthly close processes.

You will report directly to the Fractional CFO.

Key Responsibilities

Core Financial Operations

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records

Process invoices, expenses, and payments

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Ensure proper categorisation aligned with the CFO-defined chart of accounts

Reconciliations & Monthly Close

Perform monthly bank and platform reconciliations

Reconcile intercompany balances

Prepare monthly financial packages for CFO review

Support structured monthly close processes

Invoicing & Expense Management

Issue client invoices promptly

Track receivables and support payment follow-ups

Maintain clean audit trails and documentation

Compliance & Governance

Maintain organised digital financial records

Support year-end handover to external accountants

Escalate discrepancies or inconsistencies promptly
