We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to support the financial leadership of a prestigious luxury brand across the Middle East region. Based in Dubai, this role will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and business partnering activities, ensuring the delivery of accurate financial information to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with both finance and operational teams in a dynamic luxury retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis, and executive presentations.
- Provide commercial insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
Financial Reporting & Controls
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
- Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Manage external and internal audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements across the region.
Business Partnering
- Partner with Retail, Marketing, Operations, HR, and Supply Chain teams to drive business performance.
- Support store profitability analysis, retail KPIs, and investment evaluations.
- Provide financial guidance to department heads and senior management.
- Challenge assumptions and support informed commercial decision-making.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Monitor cash flow performance and liquidity requirements.
- Oversee inventory valuation and stock-related financial controls.
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and working capital optimization initiatives.
- Ensure effective treasury management and banking relationships where applicable.
Team Leadership
- Support and develop finance team members through coaching and performance management.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive process enhancements and operational efficiencies within the finance function.
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, preferably within luxury retail, fashion, consumer goods, or premium brands.
- Strong understanding of retail finance, inventory accounting, and commercial business partnering.
- Experience working in a regional or multinational environment is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
