Role Description

  • The Finance Manager MENA & Asia will play a critical leadership role in managing Group Consolidation, Financial Reporting, Compliance, and Finance Transformation, with a strong focus on ERP implementation and optimization across the region.
  • This role requires full ownership of financial governance across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, close partnership with senior leadership, and the ability to drive standardization, automation, and financial discipline across the Group.
  • ERP implementation experience is mandatory.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or trading is a strong advantage.
  • This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Group Consolidation, Reporting & Statutory Compliance
  • Lead and own the monthly Group close process (D+5) across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
  • Enforce strong month-end cut-off discipline and reporting timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, Group accounting policies, and local statutory requirements.
  • Strengthen financial governance through structured close checklists, deadlines, approvals, and controls.
  • Drive continuous improvement via process standardization, automation, and system enhancements.
  • Establish, maintain, and document accounting policies and internal controls.

Tax, Audit & Regulatory Compliance

  • Own and lead the Group's tax strategy, statutory compliance, and audit execution across all jurisdictions.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and governance requirements, ensuring proper documentation and risk controls.
  • Coordinate audits and inquiries with tax authorities, auditors, and external advisors.
  • Ensure ERP and finance systems support compliance requirements (tax codes, invoice formats, workflows).

Treasury & Cash Management

  • Manage day-to-day treasury operations including payment scheduling, cash positioning, and short-term forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal approval matrices and strengthen payment authorization controls.
  • Prepare regular treasury reporting (cash balances, forecasts vs. actuals, banking exposure).

Finance Transformation & Systems

  • Lead finance digitalization and process optimization initiatives across the Group.
  • Own the finance systems landscape (ERP, consolidation/reporting tools, BI solutions).
  • Ensure correct system configuration, data integrity, and master data governance.
  • Act as the finance lead for ERP implementation, rollout, and continuous optimization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, Controllership, Audit, or Finance Systems.
  • Strong multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction experience (regional or global exposure preferred).
  • Hands-on ERP implementation or optimization experience (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.) mandatory.
  • Experience with reporting and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, governance, and audit requirements.
  • Proven ability to streamline processes, automate reporting, and deliver fast closes (D+5).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills (Finance, IT, Operations, Auditors, Consultants).
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and documentation discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA / CA / CPA) is strongly preferred.
