Job Description
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS standards
- Oversee general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and financial reporting packs
- Manage manufacturing finance activities including production accounting, inventory, and cost controls
- Review inventory valuation, WIP, finished goods, and provisions including slow moving and obsolete stock
- Partner with operational teams across production, procurement, and supply chain to enhance financial controls
- Support product costing and profitability analysis through alignment of operational and financial data
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Conduct variance analysis and monitor key financial performance drivers
- Prepare executive dashboards and present insights to senior stakeholders
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and liquidity planning
- Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and finance policies
- Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance
- Ensure adherence to IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate tax regulations
- Drive ERP enhancements and process improvements to increase automation and efficiency
- Maintain data integrity and improve reporting capabilities within finance systems
- Act as a key finance business partner supporting commercial and operational decisions
- Evaluate capital investments, pricing strategies, and business cases
- Lead and develop the finance team, setting clear objectives and driving performance
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of finance experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Mandatory experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise in IFRS, FP&A, inventory accounting, and internal controls
- Experience working with ERP systems, with Odoo as an advantage
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with Power BI as a plus
- Candidates must be based in the UAE
- Immediately available candidates are preferred
