A growing multi entity group with operations spanning Europe and the Middle East is looking for a Finance Manager to join its Dubai team. The group runs a lean, fast paced finance function across multiple jurisdictions, and this role sits at the heart of it, reporting directly to a fractional CFO and playing a key part in bookkeeping, consolidations and board level reporting.
The Role
- Manage UAE and Europe bookkeeping, accounting and VAT filings
- Support the board with consolidations, reporting and financial analysis across multiple entities and jurisdictions
- Oversee and manage an external onshore accountant and other external advisers, including tax and bookkeeping partners
- Work hands on across a multi entity group structure spanning several countries
- Report directly to a fractional CFO
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within multi entity or group finance structures
- A professional accounting qualification, completed or in progress (CPA, CA, ACCA or an equivalent qualification)
- A confident, independent self starter who can onboard quickly and hit the ground running
- Comfortable managing external stakeholders and advisers
- German language proficiency is a strong plus, though not essential
- Prior experience in a start up or fast moving environment is an advantage
