Finance Manager - Operations

We are looking to hire a Finance Manager Operationswho will be responsible for taking full operations ownership of finance and accounting processes to ensure robust financial control, accurate reporting, and compliance from day onefor our client based in Dubai- a leading semi government organization.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 months and is renewable.

The role sits within the Finance Department and reports directly to the Director of Finance.

The position will initially focus on managing end to end finance operations and act as a business partner across the organisation. The role works closely with executive leadership, finance teams, and key stakeholders to ensure disciplined financial management and enable organisational growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Take ownership of all finance and accounting processes, including ledger management, consolidation, month-end/year-end close, and management reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Design, document, and implement standard finance processes.
• Lead ERP/system implementation, ensuring standardisation and automation across operations.
• Maintain transparent, audit-ready financial records and reporting processes.
• Analyse performance to inform strategic decision-making and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and teams to support investment readiness and capital planning.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• 8+ years in finance, corporate finance, or financial management, ideally with experience in building or improving finance functions.
• Proven track record in financial leadership, process design, and reporting frameworks.
• Hands-on experience on oracle fusion or similar large ERP.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional finance qualifications (CPA, CA, CFA, ACCA) preferred.
• Strong financial modelling, analysis, and scenario planning skills.
• Structured, process-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and capable of leading change and embedding new processes.
