Organizational Unit Purpose
The Retail Business Finance team supports the Retail Banking business by driving financial performance management, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, financial reporting, and strategic decision-making. The team partners with product and business stakeholders to deliver insights, governance, and financial support across Retail Banking products.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Retail Banking Product teams to provide financial analysis, performance insights, and management information.
- Monitor product profitability, revenue, costs, margins, NIM, and FTP impacts, providing recommendations to support business decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term financial planning activities for Retail Banking products.
- Support month-end close activities, financial reporting, and responses to management and business queries.
- Drive financial governance, investment evaluations, business case reviews, and cost management across product lines.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; MBA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in Banking Finance, Business Finance, or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- Strong knowledge of Retail Banking products, profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.
- Advanced stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior management.
- Experience with financial reporting and analytics tools such as Hyperion, Power BI, and advanced Excel is preferred.
