Job Purpose:
The Finance Manager Reporting and Regulatory is responsible for managing all financial reporting and regulatory compliance activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role also oversees asset management and leads the finance reporting team while driving continuous improvement in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage all regulatory reporting requirements, including Tax, Zakat, Customs, and other statutory filings.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements and coordinate with external auditors and authorities.
- Oversee General Ledger activities, period-end closing, reconciliations, and complex accounting entries.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals, and asset registers.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the financial reporting and regulatory team.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting under tight deadlines.
- Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support automation initiatives.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and asset management.
- 10+ years of relevant technical experience.
- Professional certification: CA, ACCA, or CPA.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
