We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Chartered Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai and help maintain our financial records for our UK and Dubai offices with accuracy and integrity.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and fully qualified accountant to be our
GroupFinance Manager and to join our team in our Dubai office. This is a critical role that requires a robust understanding of both the
UK and UAE financial landscapes. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between both markets, possessing professional certifications acknowledged in both regions, and having spent a minimum of one year working directly within the UK financial sector.
You will take full ownership of submitting end of year accounts, managing our financial health, filing our corporate tax and VAT returns, ensuring compliance across both jurisdictions, and the end-to-end management of our financial statements (including weekly, monthly, and annual balance sheets) to drive business growth.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Control & Reporting: Oversee day-to-day financial operations in the Dubai office. Prepare, review, and present weekly, monthly, and annual balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports in accordance with IFRS
- Dual-Market Tax Compliance: Ensure full compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws and FTA VAT regulations. Oversee or coordinate any trailing UK tax compliance obligations, HMRC guidelines, or cross-border tax considerations relevant to the business structure
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Develop robust financial models, annual budgets, and monthly cash flow forecasts. Deliver variance analysis to senior leadership to guide strategic decision-making
- Audit & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, local and international banks, and regulatory bodies in both the UAE and the UK
- Process Optimisation: Implement and maintain tight internal controls and financial policies. Maximize efficiency by managing and updating ERP/accounting software
Required Qualifications & Experience

- Total Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive, post-qualification experience in finance or accounting management roles
- UK Market Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year of proven working experience directly inside the UK market (handling UK accounting practices, GAAP/IFRS, or HMRC regulations)
- Technical Skills: Proven expertise in handling tight reporting cycles, specifically managing weekly, monthly, and yearly balance sheets and financial closures
- Professional Certifications: Must hold a fully qualified professional accounting certification recognized in both (UK & UAE) markets, such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA (or a UK Chartered status alongside a UAE-recognized equivalent)
- Location: Must be willing to work full-time out of our Dubai office and Immediate Joiner
