Finance Manager

1. Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and expense management, ensuring timely reconciliations with third parties.
2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions, including premium collections, claims payments, commissions, and vendor invoices, in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
3. Maintain statutory records and prepare regulatory reports in compliance with IFRS 17, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to authorities.
4. Supervise month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring preparation of accurate financial statements.
5. Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, claims, and operations teams to ensure accurate insurance accounting under IFRS 17 and assist in preparing periodic regulatory returns.
6. Preparation of periodic performance reports for the purpose of submitting to the management and the BOD.
7. Lead the preparation of the annual budget and conduct periodic variance analysis on financial performance.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits and quarterly reviews, coordinating with auditors and addressing audit findings.

Experience:

6-8 years of related insurance sector experience required.
