Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial activities across 17 Business Units in 9 Middle Eastern countries.
• Support three distinct Business Lines with diverse operational and commercial requirements.
• Manage complex project accounting and cash-flow considerations within the construction sector.
• Coordinate taxation, banking, compliance, audit, and reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead and develop a multicultural, geographically dispersed finance team.
• Oversee contract management, payment terms, guarantees, joint ventures, and collections.
• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and performance insights to support management decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement through digitalization, reporting automation, and finance process enhancements.
  
  

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine regional financial leadership, operational influence, and business partnering within a leading international engineering and construction group.

Role Complexity & Strategic Scope

You will lead the finance function across a diverse and complex regional environment covering 17 Business Units in 9 countries and three Business Lines: Freyssinet, Sixense, and Nuvia, representing approximately €50M in annual turnover.

Going beyond traditional financial management, you will navigate multiple regulatory, tax, banking, audit, and compliance environments while ensuring alignment with VINCI Group policies and governance standards.

As a trusted business partner to operational leaders, you will provide financial insight to support profitability, cash-flow optimization, risk management, and strategic decision-making.

You will lead a geographically dispersed Finance & Accounting team of 10–12 professionals and coordinate financial activities across multiple entities, currencies, and jurisdictions. You will also support business transformation initiatives, enhance financial reporting, and drive the adoption of digital tools including ERP systems, Salesforce, Power Query, and Power BI.

• The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural, project-based construction environment, combining strategic financial leadership with strong operational execution and stakeholder management.
  
  

Profile & Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in finance and accounting management, including at least 5 years of significant exposure to international taxation, external audit, transfer pricing, treasury, and international compliance.
• Proven experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency, and multi-country financial reporting within an international group.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, audit processes, and group reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, Power Query, and Power BI.
• Experience in digital finance transformation and reporting automation.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and coordinate multicultural finance teams across multiple countries.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience in the construction or engineering sector is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
