We are seeking a Finance & Tax Manager to oversee local financial compliance, statutory reporting, and tax obligations for our UAE operations, while also supporting broader international tax matters across the Group.
This role requires strong technical knowledge in UAE accounting and tax regulations, combined with the ability to collaborate with global finance, legal, and business teams on cross-border tax topics.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance & Statutory Compliance
- Oversee preparation and submission of statutory reports and tax compliance documentation required by local authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate annual audit activities with external auditors and act as the key finance contact in the UAE.
- Ensure that financial reporting aligns with global accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable legal requirements.
- Support internal finance teams with review, validation, and accuracy of local financial information.
Tax Compliance & Advisory
- Manage UAE tax obligations including Corporate Tax, VAT compliance, and Economic Substance requirements.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess implications for the business.
- Liaise with tax authorities, external advisors, and internal stakeholders on tax matters.
- Support preparation and review of tax filings, assessments, and documentation.
International Tax Support
- Assist in tax considerations for cross-border transactions, transfer pricing requirements, and global tax efficiency initiatives.
- Support the Group Tax Director with tax planning, structuring topics, and compliance methodologies.
- Provide input on tax implications related to new products, entity expansion, and international operational models.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a trusted finance and tax partner to business leaders, legal teams, HR, procurement, and operational departments.
- Ensure that internal stakeholders understand compliance requirements and adopt best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 57 years of relevant experience in finance and tax roles, ideally within multinational or international environments.
- Fluent English and Arabic.
- Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations including VAT, CIT, and relevant compliance frameworks.
- Experience engaging with tax authorities, regulators, and external auditors.
- Familiarity with international tax principles such as BEPS and cross-border compliance considerations.
- Big 4 or similar advisory experience is a strong advantage.
- Experience with corporate taxation for online, digital, or service-based business models preferred.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field (professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CTA, or Master's in Taxation preferred).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
