Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full accounting cycle for clients, including journal entries, reconciliations, adjustments, and fixed assets accounting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local reporting standards.
- Handle tax compliance: VAT returns, corporate income tax filings, and other applicable taxes in the UAE.
- Oversee payroll processing for clients: salary calculations, deductions, allowances, end-of-service benefits, WPS compliance.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, tax regulations, and other relevant frameworks (ESR, AML, etc.).
- Support external audits: prepare documentation, liaise with auditors, provide explanations and reconciliations.
- Deliver management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Advise clients on accounting, tax, and compliance issues, including updates on UAE legislation.
Candidate Requirements:
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local UAE accounting/tax regulations.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or tax.
- Prior work experience in consulting or outsourcing firms is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
- Solid knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, payroll, and UAE tax laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Languages: fluent Russian and English (written and spoken).
