JOB SUMMARY
Lead the origination, development, and delivery of finance transformation engagements for Energy, Natural Resources, and related clients across Riyadh and Al Khobar. Support CFO agendas across finance strategy, target operating model design, process optimisation, governance, data, technology enablement, financial close and reporting, planning, analytics, and cost performance.
The role includes building trusted C-suite relationships, leading large and complex transformation programs, driving business development, and contributing to the growth of the Finance Transformation practice in the Saudi market.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead large and complex finance transformation engagements for Energy and Natural Resources clients.
- Advise CFOs and finance leaders on finance transformation strategy, target operating model design, and transformation roadmaps aligned to business priorities and sector dynamics.
- Bring insights and design transformation initiatives across core finance activities.
- Lead technology-enabled finance transformations, including ERP, EPM, reporting, analytics, and data solutions, from strategy through value realisation.
- Advise clients on global best practices, digital finance, automation, and process harmonisation opportunities.
- Lead executive workshops, steering committees, and senior stakeholder discussions with CFOs, Finance Directors, and business leaders.
- Oversee programme economics, planning, quality assurance, risk management, and resolution of critical delivery issues across a portfolio of engagements.
- Drive business development activities, including account planning, client relationship building, proposal development, pitch delivery, and market-facing thought leadership.
- Coach and develop Associate Directors, Managers, and wider team members, while helping shape and scale the Finance Transformation practice across Saudi Arabia.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent.
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.
- Other relevant professional qualifications may be considered an advantage.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
- 12+ years of relevant experience in consulting and/or the Energy & Natural Resources (ENR) industry.
- Strong experience in large-scale transformation programme delivery.
- Experience serving Energy, Natural Resources, Utilities, Chemicals, or adjacent asset-heavy sectors.
- Proven track record in business development, proposal conversion, and senior client relationship management.
- Big Four or top-tier consulting experience is preferred.
