Job Description

Job Summary

Capital Elite is looking for a highly experienced Financial & Accounting Manager with strong expertise in real estate development, construction, contracting, project accounting, cost control, financial reporting, taxation, and cash flow management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's full accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, controlling project costs, monitoring budgets, managing cash flows, and supporting senior management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Prepare management reports, financial dashboards, and performance analysis for senior management.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all financial records.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Real Estate & Construction Accounting

  • Manage accounting operations related to real estate development projects, construction contracts, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments, variations, and actual spending.
  • Prepare project profitability reports, cost-to-complete reports, and project cash flow forecasts.
  • Track land acquisition costs, development costs, construction costs, infrastructure costs, and unit-related costs.
  • Review contractor and subcontractor invoices, payment certificates, retention, advances, and variation orders.
  • Ensure proper allocation of costs across projects, phases, units, and cost centers.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting.
  • Prepare cash flow projections and monitor liquidity requirements.
  • Analyze budget versus actual performance and identify variances.
  • Support management in financial planning, investment analysis, and project feasibility studies.
  • Monitor collections, customer payment plans, installment schedules, and receivables aging.

Taxation, Audit & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax, payroll tax, and other applicable obligations.
  • Prepare and review tax returns and coordinate with tax advisors and external auditors.
  • Manage internal and external audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, supervise, and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Review daily accounting transactions and approve key financial entries.
  • Improve department workflow, reporting quality, and accounting controls.
  • Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, project management, legal, and administration departments.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification is a plus: CPA, CMA, ACCA, IFRS Diploma, or equivalent
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Proven experience in real estate development, construction, contracting, or property development is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of project accounting, construction cost control, budgeting, financial reporting, taxation, and audit.
  • Excellent knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards and Egyptian tax regulations is Must.
  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken, is required.
  • Strong experience with ERP/accounting systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build financial controls and reporting systems.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and business-minded.
  • Capable of partnering with senior management to support strategic and operational decisions.
