A confidential entity in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Personal Financial Advisor to provide trusted, hands-on support across personal financial affairs. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, detail-orientated advisor to play a hands-on role within a position of significant responsibility and trust.
The successful candidate will help oversee wealth-related matters, coordinate with external advisors and institutions, and provide, sound, well-structured advice tailored to the principal's needs. They will balance strategic advice with hands-on execution, operating with limited supervision, often managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Advise on the principal's personal financial matters across banking, liquidity, budgeting, investments, and major expenditures
- Monitor the overall financial position of the principal, and support the development of short, medium, and long-term personal financial plans
- Coordinate with banks, wealth managers, tax advisors, lawyers, auditors, and other external service providers to ensure seamless execution and follow-up
- Review investment portfolios and proposals from third parties, and provide independent analysis and recommendations
- Support evaluation of new investment opportunities, asset allocations, and wealth preservation strategies
- Oversee cash flow planning, payment schedules, and major personal financial commitments
- Review financial documentation, agreements, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and appropriate escalation of issues
- Identify financial risks, inefficiencies, or exposures, and recommend practical mitigation actions
- Work closely with relevant internal staff and trusted external partners to ensure timely execution of financial decisions
Requirements
- 8-15 years experience in private wealth management, family office advisory, private banking, investment advisory, or senior personal finance support
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA, Master's or equivalent would be advantageous
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, CA, CFP, or equivalent are advantageous
- Experience advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals, principals, family offices, or senior executives is required
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning, banking relationships, and wealth structuring
- Familiarity with international financial arrangements and cross-border asset considerations
- Strong financial modeling, analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
