We are looking for a Financial Analyst whoisresponsible for supporting the Finance Manager with financial analysis, forecasting, management reporting, and tax compliance schedules — driving business performance through accurate, well-controlled reporting and clear commentary for management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet schedules, and management accounts in line with group reporting standards and internal controls.
- Support the Finance Manager in the month-end closing process, including accruals, provisions, and balance sheet review schedules.
- Manage the end-to-end submission of monthly financials to Group, ensuring data consistency and timeliness.
- Update and maintain the Financial Pack and supporting schedules for board and management review meetings.
- Support the annual budget and rolling forecast process across P&L and Balance Sheet elements, including variance analysis and management commentary.
- Develop and maintain budget vs. actuals performance dashboards with trend analysis and early warning indicators for management.
- Prepare weekly cash flow reporting based on actuals and forecasted receipts and payments, highlighting short-term liquidity risks.
- Partner with Credit Control and Operations to track high-risk customer exposure, blocked accounts, and recovery trends, escalating material risks to the Finance Manager.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for key balance sheet accounts, support internal and external audits, and drive process improvement and automation across reporting cycles.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline (ACCA/CIMA/CPA preferred).
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or management reporting within a structured finance function.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and SAP BW for financial reporting, data extraction, and budget/actuals uploads.
- Hands-on experience with CCH Tagetik (or comparable consolidation/CPM tool) for group reporting submissions.
- Proficiency in Power BI for building management dashboards, variance analysis, and trend reporting.
- Solid grounding in IFRS and core accounting principles; awareness of internal controls and audit requirements.
- Advanced Excel (pivots, lookups, financial modelling) and strong PowerPoint skills.
Preferred:
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-country reporting (UAE & KSA / GCC experience preferred).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into clear business commentary for non-finance stakeholders.
