We're hiring an experienced CA or CFA who is already based in Dubai and has hands-on exposure to fund accounting, investment products, portfolio reporting, and financial controls. This role needs someone who can operate independently, speak the language of both finance and investments, and build systems not just follow them.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end fund accounting, NAV oversight, fee calculations, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Evaluate and interpret portfolios spanning fixed income, equities, derivatives, private investments, and structured products.
- Build and refine lean operational workflows for reporting, compliance, valuation, and risk management.
- Lead investment performance analytics, attribution, benchmarking, and portfolio diagnostics.
- Interface with client CFOs, investment managers, auditors, and custodians.
- Recommend enhancements in investment operations, including automation and process redesign.
- Prepare board-level reports and contribute to strategic financial planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- CA or CFA charterholder preferred; strong experience in investment accounting or asset management is essential.
- Deep understanding of capital markets instruments, valuation, yield calculations, derivatives mechanics, and portfolio structures.
- Experience in NAV control, fund operating models, and regulatory frameworks (DFSA/ESCA useful).
- Strong analytical and modelling skills; comfort with tech-driven workflows.
- Excellent communication; ability to work directly with senior stakeholders.
