Role Description

As a Financial Analyst Intern in the Mortgages Credit Underwriting department at PAISA Merchant Payment Services, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the mortgage industry and contribute to our mission of making homeownership more accessible. This role goes beyond traditional analysis as it also involves utilizing telemarketing skills to attract and engage new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze financial documents, including income statements, tax returns, and credit reports.
• Assist in evaluating applicants credit histories and financial situations to determine their eligibility for mortgage loans.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to assess risk and ensure compliance with lending guidelines.
• Participate in meetings with clients, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to gather information and address inquiries.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and summaries of financial analysis findings.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and lending practices.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Mortgages Credit Underwriting department.
• Actively engage in telemarketing and sales efforts to acquire new customers and expand our client base.

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience with financial analysis software, knowledge of international financial markets and foreign exchange rates, and proficiency in languages commonly spoken in the Middle East, such as Arabic
