We are seeking a Financial Consultant with 46 years of experience in finance advisory, accounting, or financial operations, ideally gained in Big 4 or Tier-2 consulting environments. The role supports client engagements across reconciliations, financial reporting, revenue validation, compliance activities, risk tracking, and financial data analysis.
The ideal candidate is analytically strong, detailoriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced finance environments. They will collaborate with senior consultants, support monthly closing cycles, and contribute to process improvements and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations Support
- Perform balance sheet, bank, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and assist in GL reviews.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
- Conduct financial data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Assist with KPI dashboards, working capital analysis, and reporting packs.
Revenue Assurance & Validation
- Perform revenue checks, validation testing, and reconciliation of revenue-related records.
- Support margin analysis and revenue leakage assessments under senior guidance.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Conduct controls testing, documentation, and compliance checks.
- Support the creation of SOPs, process maps, and policies.
- Track and follow up on audit findings and risk logs.
Risk Monitoring & Issue Tracking
- Maintain and update risk registers, issue logs, and action trackers.
- Assist in identifying potential operational and financial risks.
Project Support & Client Interaction
- Assist with daytoday consulting activities, workshops, and stakeholder coordination.
- Prepare deliverables, reports, and client-ready documentation.
- Work closely with senior consultants to support engagement execution.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (mandatory).
- 46 years of experience in:
- Accounting
- Financial operations
- Financial advisory or audit
- Preferably within Big 4 or Tier2 consulting firms
- Strong experience in:
- Reconciliations
- Reporting support
- Revenue validation
- Financial analysis
- Risk and compliance tracking
- Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
- Progress toward CPA / ACCA / CMA is preferred (completed or in progress).
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft D365) is a plus.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and willingness to learn.
