Role Description:
The Financial Control Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for overseeing financial controlling activities, including monitoring budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing financial reporting cycles, analyzing variances and trends, and providing insights to support strategic and operational decisions. The Financial Control Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, supports audits and compliance requirements, and recommends process improvements to strengthen financial governance and transparency.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess strong Financial Controlling and Finance skills, with experience managing budgets, cost control, and financial governance.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, perform variance analyses, and generate actionable insights.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP platforms, advanced Excel) and have solid knowledge of internal controls and audit processes.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and support management decision-making.
- Proven experience in a similar financial management or controlling role, ideally within engineering, consulting, or project-based organizations.
