Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Build and manage commercial relationships with financial institutions in Saudi Arabia — banks, card networks, acquirers, BNPL players and fintech companies — to develop Keeta's financial partnerships ecosystem in the Kingdom
  2. Lead commercial evaluation and negotiations across acquiring, co-branded cards, BNPL, embedded finance and other partnership models — owning initiatives end to end, from business case and partnership design through to launch
  3. Own our view of the Saudi payments market: provider landscape, product structures, pricing levels, market share and regulatory developments — and turn it into insight and recommendations the business can act on
  4. Engage effectively with SAMA and local regulators; understand licensing boundaries and approval pathways, and ensure partnership structures are designed to meet regulatory requirements from the outset
  5. Work with internal product, technology, operations, risk and legal teams to translate local market requirements into practical product solutions
  6. Own performance tracking across user adoption, transaction volume, cost and ROI, and act on what the data shows
  7. Act as the bridge between the Saudi market and HQ's international payments team — translating local market reality into terms HQ can act on, and platform capability into what is workable in the Kingdom
  8. Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency in market analysis, negotiation preparation and partner relationship management

Job Requirements:

  1. Saudi nationals strongly preferred; 5+ years of experience in business development or strategy within payments, fintech, digital banking or financial services
  2. Acquiring background is essential: deep understanding of acquiring economics and pricing models (IC++/Blended etc.), with hands-on experience negotiating or delivering acquiring partnerships
  3. Working knowledge of the SAMA regulatory framework: what requires a licence, the approval pathway, and realistic timelines
  4. Established relationships and proven deal execution with banks, card networks and acquirers in Saudi Arabia; experience engaging with the central bank and regulators
  5. Fluent written and spoken English
  6. Experience in credit-oriented retail financial products (BNPL, credit cards, consumer lending) is an advantage
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to build a commercial model, defend its assumptions, and explain them to a non-specialist audience
  8. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to work effectively with local teams and cross-functional teams at HQ; pragmatic, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-growing team

Job Highlights:

  1. Early-stage involvement: our international financial services business is at a zero-to-one stage — you will shape what gets built, not inherit someone else's roadmap
  2. Broad exposure across strategy, business development, product delivery and operations in a role
  3. Platform backing: a core strategic priority of Meituan's global expansion, with Keeta live in Hong Kong, the Middle East and Brazil — you will work directly with the leading players in Saudi Arabia's financial ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in embedded finance, consumer-facing financial products, or a marketplace / super-app environment
  2. Deep hands-on experience with AI tools (AI agents, RAG knowledge bases, etc.)
  3. Track record of independently closing major financial-institution partnerships end to end
