Financial Manager (Tax & Project Management)

We are looking for a Finance PMO (Tax & Consolidation) to support finance projects for our client in Dubai. This role requires strong finance background with some tax exposure, consolidation experience, and project management skills.

This is a 12-month contract role in the organization and reports to the Finance and Tax Manager in the Finance department.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.

The role sits within the Finance Department and reports directly to the Finance and Tax Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as PMO for finance-related projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and reporting are on track.
• Support tax-related activities including VAT, VAT refunds, and related processes.
• Support finance consolidation activities across entities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Tax, and Audit teams.
• Track project plans, risks, actions, and dependencies.
• Prepare status reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Support audit-related requirements and coordination.
• Ensure proper documentation of processes and project updates.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g. CA, ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in finance, audit, or tax, including at least 2 years in a project coordination or implementation role.
• Finance background is mandatory.
• Some experience in tax (VAT, refunds, tax processes).
• Audit background is preferred.
• Consolidation experience is required.
• Project management experience is preferred (PMO, project coordination, finance projects).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a structured way.
