Financial Operations Manager

Join a Dubai-based Single Family Office as a Financial Operations Manager, taking ownership of day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities and the Principals financial affairs. The role combines treasury, banking, payroll, reconciliations, compliance, reporting and investment operations within a fast-paced proprietary investment environment.

Our client is a Dubai-based Single Family Office managing the Principals own capital across global investment activities. The office operates a proprietary investment strategy with a focus on US securities and commodities markets, supported by a lean, high-performing team.

Description

• Manage the full invoice lifecycle including collection, verification, approvals, payments and filing
• Oversee recurring payments, critical bills and cash funding requirements
• Execute domestic and international bank transfers and treasury activities
• Monitor balances across multiple UAE and international bank accounts
• Manage corporate card programmes, expense tracking and statement reviews
• Handle banking relationships, KYC requests and account opening processes
• Run monthly payroll, WPS submissions and employee reimbursements
• Maintain payroll, bonus and compensation records
• Prepare monthly financial information for external accountants
• Perform bank, card and broker reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Review financial reports and statements prepared by external accountants
• Support VAT, corporate tax and wider compliance requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors, accountants and tax advisors
• Support brokerage account administration and funding activities
• Assist with corporate documentation, board resolutions and record keeping
• Manage financial reporting and cash tracking across multiple entities
• Support private wealth and banking relationship activities
• Conduct occasional in-person banking and administrative tasks as required

Profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in finance, accounting, treasury or financial operations
• UAE-based with strong knowledge of local banking practices and WPS payroll
• Proven experience managing payments, invoices and bank reconciliations
• Experience dealing directly with banks and external financial service providers
• Strong understanding of treasury, cash management and financial controls
• Exposure to VAT, tax compliance, audits and regulatory requirements
• Experience supporting multiple entities and complex financial operations
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA or CFA preferred
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Highly organised with strong follow-through and execution capability
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• High levels of confidentiality, ownership and accountability
