Mid-East & Africa Business Group (MEABG)

Driving TCL's expansion across the Middle East and Africa, we're building an AI x IoT ecosystem around our smart display solutions and home appliance portfolio (air conditioners, refrigerators, washers), as well as smart devices. Our mission is to become the region's leading smart home solutions provider. MEABG employs 400+ professionals across nationalities. Operations span the Middle East and Africa through 5 subsidiaries: Pakistan, UAE (Dubai), Turkey, South Africa, and Morocco, as well as 4 regions: East Africa, North Africa, West Africa, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable Management: Manage the end-to-end AR process, including invoicing, reconciliation, bookkeeping, payment tracking, overdue collection, aging analysis, bad debt provision, and transaction settlement, ensuring timely cash collection and accurate account records.
• AR Follow-up: Collaborate with the sales team to monitor and follow up on overdue receivables, ensuring timely clearance.
• Banking & Treasury: Liaise with external parties (banks, tax agents, SAP, Egyptian Social Insurance Authority, suppliers) for daily operational matters.
• Document Review: Review the accuracy, business reasonableness, and tax compliance of invoices, expense reports, and other supporting documents;
• Tax Compliance: Monitor Egypt's local tax regulations (VAT, CIT, stamp duty, etc.), follow up and verify tax invoices and receipts from suppliers, complete tax filings and document archiving on time, and support potential tax inspections.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Work with local administration, HR, and business teams to support payroll calculation, inventory counts, project budget tracking, etc.
• Audit & Filing: Support annual audit and internal group audit; organize and maintain financial vouchers, contracts, tax returns, and other archival documents.
• System learning and Promotion: Deeply study and understand the company's various rules and regulations, and regularly organize system training and promotion for local Egyptian employees.
• Other Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Arabic and English; English must be proficient as a working language (fluent in writing and speaking, able to independently communicate with headquarters, external auditors, and banks);
• International exposure (overseas study, exchange programs, or multinational work experience) is preferred;
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in a challenging environment;
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and demonstrate proactiveness;
• Strong resilience under pressure and financial acumen;
• Excellent communication and report writing skills;
• Familiarity with SAP is preferred;
• Knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and basic tax requirements;
