Job Summary
The Financial System Manager is responsible for managing, improving, and transforming the organization's finance systems landscape, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance. The role acts as the key link between Finance, IT, and business teams to ensure efficient financial operations, accurate reporting, automation, compliance, and continuous improvement.
The position will lead SAP implementations, upgrades, integrations, digital transformation initiatives, and finance process improvements while ensuring system security, data accuracy, and business alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance finance systems, including ERP, SAP S/4HANA Finance, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury solutions.
- Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, upgrades, migrations, rollouts, and system improvements.
- Manage SAP FI/CO, Treasury, Cash Management, Group Reporting, Project Systems, and Funds Management solutions.
- Oversee system configuration, testing, integrations, deployment, and performance improvements.
- Drive finance digital transformation and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Identify opportunities to optimize finance processes and implement best practices.
- Improve financial reporting, dashboards, analytics, and management information systems.
- Ensure financial systems comply with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain data accuracy, security, governance, and system access controls.
- Manage relationships with IT teams, SAP partners, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.
- Lead finance process improvement initiatives across accounting, procurement, treasury, budgeting, and reporting functions.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with governance requirements.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and development support to finance systems teams and key users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Master's degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or IT is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent are preferred.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is an advantage.
- PMP or project management certification is preferred.
Experience Required
- 10–15 years of experience in Finance Systems, ERP, SAP, Financial Technology, or Digital Transformation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation, ERP implementations, upgrades, migrations, rollouts, conversions, and system integrations.
- Experience participating in or managing digital transformation initiatives within Finance or ERP environments.
- Demonstrated experience improving finance processes through automation, system enhancements, and technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, including accounting, budgeting, reporting, treasury, cost management, and financial planning.
- Experience working with large organizations, multinational companies, or diversified business groups.
- Industry experience in Construction, Manufacturing, Industrial, Real Estate, FMCG, Logistics, Infrastructure, or diversified business groups is preferred.
