Job Title: SOP & Policy Writer Banking
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Contract Type: Yearly Renewable
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SOP & Policy Writer with a strong background in banking to create clear, detailed policies and procedures across all areas of the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end SOPs for operations (teller, customer service, sales, etc.)
- Conduct meetings with departments to gather process requirements
- Document system workflows (e.g., screen navigation, document uploads)
- Prepare training manuals and process guides for staff onboarding
- Handle a wide range of documentation requests including complaints, new systems, and branch operations
- Ensure compliance, risk, and control elements are embedded in all documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of SOP writing experience
- Prior banking experience is mandatory
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong understanding of banking operations, compliance, and risk
- Comfortable managing high-volume documentation (approx. 15 SOPs per day)
