Job Title: SOP & Policy Writer Banking

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Contract Type: Yearly Renewable

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SOP & Policy Writer with a strong background in banking to create clear, detailed policies and procedures across all areas of the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end SOPs for operations (teller, customer service, sales, etc.)
  • Conduct meetings with departments to gather process requirements
  • Document system workflows (e.g., screen navigation, document uploads)
  • Prepare training manuals and process guides for staff onboarding
  • Handle a wide range of documentation requests including complaints, new systems, and branch operations
  • Ensure compliance, risk, and control elements are embedded in all documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of SOP writing experience
  • Prior banking experience is mandatory
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, compliance, and risk
  • Comfortable managing high-volume documentation (approx. 15 SOPs per day)
