Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Sharjah for a Finishing Carpenter. The Finishing Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures used in event setups & Exhibitions. Responsibilities include utilizing hand tools and power tools, executing finish carpentry work, performing framing tasks, and ensuring all work is precise and aesthetically appealing. Collaboration with the event management team to meet project deadlines and quality standards is a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry, with a strong understanding of measurements and detailed craftsmanship.
• A UAE driving license will be a plus.
• Experience with Hand Tools and Power Tools, ensuring proper handling and maintenance for safety and efficiency.
• Skilled in Framing and structural woodwork, with the ability to follow blueprints or technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks effectively on-site.
• Previous experience in an event management or related industry is an advantage.
