About UmrahPe

UmrahPe is building a first-of-its-kind fintech infrastructure to power cross-border B2B payments and forex services for the $1000B+ global Umrah market. Our platform simplifies remittance from Indian Umrah tour operators to Saudi Arabian suppliers and equips pilgrims with co-branded forex cards accepted across Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

We're seeking a Co-Founder & CTO with deep fintech experience to architect, build, and scale the UmrahPe platform. As a technical co-founder, you'll lead product development, ensure regulatory-compliant architecture (RBI, SAMA), and help shape the future of Islamic travel finance.

This is also a founder-investor role we're looking for someone ready to invest time and capital into building a high-growth, purpose-driven company from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Ownership: Build a secure, scalable, cloud-native cross-border payment and remittance platform
• Compliance Integration: Design systems aligned with RBI & SAMA fintech/FX regulations
• KYC/AML Automation: Implement automated onboarding, verification, and fraud detection tools
• Forex Card Integration: Partner with banking APIs to issue and manage co-branded prepaid cards
• Tech Team Leadership: Build and lead a distributed product & engineering team
• Investor Role: Contribute early-stage investment to support MVP launch and early operations
• Innovation: Stay ahead with trends in blockchain, embedded finance, UPI, and cross-border APIs

Ideal Background

• 610+ years in fintech or cross-border payments
• Proven experience building B2B or financial SaaS products
• Hands-on with tech stacks: Node.js/Python, AWS, Mongo/Postgres, API integrations, mobile + web apps
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, PCI-DSS, AML/KYC frameworks is a huge plus
• Ability and willingness to invest in the platform's MVP and early development
• Entrepreneurial, product-first mindset
