Join Maybank's FinTech & Innovation team and play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and developing strategic partnerships with fintech companies across the region.
You will act as the bridge between FinTech's and internal stakeholders, driving innovation initiatives from opportunity sourcing through Proof of Concept (PoC) execution and commercialization. This role offers exposure to emerging technologies, fintech ecosystems, and business stakeholders across multiple markets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage fintech startups, technology providers, accelerators, VCs, and innovation ecosystems.
- Conduct fintech landscape assessments and market scans across Payments, AI, RegTech, WealthTech, Digital Assets, Lending, Risk Management, and Customer Experience.
- Evaluate fintech solutions against business, technology, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Build business cases and value propositions for fintech partnerships.
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end PoCs and pilot initiatives.
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders including Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, and Business teams.
- Support commercialization and long-term partnership development.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, presentations, and governance updates.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in Banking, FinTech, Digital Transformation, Innovation, Partnership Management, Consulting, or Business Development.
- Strong understanding of FinTech business models, digital ecosystems, and emerging technologies within the financial services industry.
- Experience working with FinTech companies, startups, technology vendors, innovation programs, or strategic partnerships.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholders, including business, technology, risk, compliance, legal, procurement, and external partners.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate and drive initiatives from ideation through execution.
- Ability to evaluate technology solutions, develop business cases, and assess strategic and commercial opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured approach to decision-making.
