Fire Instructor

Job Overview

NAFFCO is looking for an experienced Fire Safety & Firefighting Instructor to provide theoretical and practical training in fire safety, firefighting, emergency response, rescue procedures, and the safe operation of firefighting equipment.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver theoretical and practical training in fire safety, firefighting techniques, emergency response, rescue procedures, and safe firefighting equipment operation.
• Conduct classroom sessions, practical drills, simulations, demonstrations, and competency assessments in line with NFPA standards, UAE Fire and Life Safety requirements, and approved training programs.
• Prepare training materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises to support effective learning.
• Evaluate trainee performance through practical assessments and provide appropriate feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and assessment results.
• Ensure all practical training activities are conducted safely, professionally, and in accordance with approved procedures.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as a Fire Instructor, Firefighter, Fire & Rescue Instructor, or equivalent.
• NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor I/II, NFPA 1001 Firefighter I/II, or equivalent recognized qualifications.
• Additional certifications in Fire & Rescue, HAZMAT, or Emergency Response will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of firefighting operations, fire safety, emergency response procedures, and practical training methods.
• Good communication, presentation, and training delivery skills in English.
